  • Antonius Roberts, born in 1958, graduated in 1981 with a BFA in Painting from Philadelphia College of Art (now University of the Arts). Roberts began as an art teacher at Government High School and lectured at The College of The Bahamas. He coordinated FINCO Summer Art Workshops, nurturing young Bahamian artists, and conceived the first Junior Junkanoo competition in 1983.
