  • Jodi Minnis (she/her) was born in Nassau, The Bahamas. She holds an Associate's Degree in Fine Arts from the College of The Bahamas (2015). She was awarded the Popop Junior Residency Prize in 2014 and participated in the Caribbean Linked III residency programme in 2015. She studied for a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at the University of Tampa, where she received The Charlene Gordon Award in Visual Art from the College of Arts and Letters (2019). In the same year, back in The Bahamas, she received the National Youth Award for Arts and Culture, as well as the prestigious Prime Minister’s Cup award from the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Culture. Minnis has exhibited at the Tampa Museum of Art and the National Art Gallery of The Bahamas. In 2023, her work was published in As We See It: Artists Redefining Black Identity by Aida Amoaka. Her work can be found in the Dawn Davies collection, the Inter-American Development Bank Collection, and the Central Bank of The Bahamas collection.

  • Unleash your inner artist the last Thursday of the month. We provide a relaxed and inclusive environment for sketching live models. Whether you're a seasoned artist or a beginner, figure drawing welcomes all skill levels.

    Explore the beauty of the human form, deepen your understanding of anatomy, and enhance your artistic observation skills.

    Please note: Guests must be 18+ to attend this event. A minimum of 5 participants is required for the class to proceed. If this minimum is not met, we will notify you of any cancellations.

  • We provide all the art supplies, art instructor, wine, water and 2 hours of poses by the model.

    The models will strike poses, allowing you to capture their beauty and grace on paper.

    We encourage our guests to arrive 15 minutes before the start time of the session to allow time to grab a beverage, get ready to create, and settle in at your easel.

    If you would prefer to book in person we accept cash & cards in the gallery. You will need to come in at least 24 hours before your session. Our operating hours are Tuesday to Saturday 10AM to 6PM.
