Jonnique Beadle (b. 1998, Nassau, Bahamas and grew up on the island of New Providence) is a visual artist who primarily works out of her home studio.

Beadle’s interest in Visual Arts stems from her natural curiosity and experimentation with different media including, painting, printmaking and textile work. She gains inspiration from her observation of society and its cultural nuances. Most of her work focuses on women. Beadle says “I see myself in the women I portray in my work, each of them represent me at a different period and mental state in my life.” Through her work, she aims to create a viewfinder for the audience allowing them to interpret each piece however they may need or want.

The artist held her first solo exhibition at her home studio in 2017 where she exhibited work produced while at The University of the Bahamas. Her second solo exhibition Façade, was held at Hillside House in 2019. The show tackled one of the prominent codes and rationales that define society; hiding ones true self. Beadle also participated in the group exhibition Over Head Bin in 2021 at The Current Gallery, Baha Mar.

Beadle holds a AA Degree in Fine Arts from the University of The Bahamas and a BA Degree in Fashion Product Development, Columbia College, Chicago, Illinois.

The artist is currently self-employed and has her own clothing alterations company

We provide all the art supplies, art instructor, wine, water and 2 hours of poses by the model.

Our live model—clothed or nude, depending on their comfort—will hold a series of dynamic and elegant poses for you to capture on paper.

A minimum of 5 participants is required for the session. If this minimum is not met, we will notify you of any cancellations.
